Zion Williamson made his much-anticipated NBA debut. To no one’s surprise, Jordan Brand cooked up a PE for the face of the New Orleans Pelicans spearheaded by the quality and performance of the Air Jordan 34. During preseason and regular season warm-ups, we saw Zion sport Pelican-themed AJ 34 PEs. Reflective faux alligator skin on the tongue tag, eyestay and heel references the Bayou State, with the latter component further embellished with “Bayou Boys” branding across the left and right shoe. Sharp teeth at the base of the tongue gives the nod to Zion’s aggressive playing style.
