Description
Traditional smooth leather is replaced by high-quality suede across most of the retro’s upper. Next to these components sit luxe maroon accents on the laces, Nike Air tongue branding and ball-and-wings logos, as well as the Swooshes and ankle collars which are covered in snakeskin patterns. The tongue tag adds co-branding to the look, while underfoot, a pre-yellowed midsole provides cushioning via Air, with a concentric rubber outsole offering traction. Moreover, the concealed note lands on the interior of the ankle flaps that bears MJ’s signature alongside the inspirational phrase “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”
