Description
The city of Shanghai is one of the busiest in the world, which is why this previously previewed, ultra-hectic Nike Blazer Mid was a fitting tribute to the city. But now it appears that the pair will be joined by two more district-dedicated drops, and they once again take shape on the retro hoops classic. Tread angles reveal non-standard design features, but a bird’s eye view reveals more of this blazer mid’s homage to Shanghai. Layered, textured swooshes on the side walls add a pink, orange, blue, and green flair to an otherwise simple palette. The lively rose tone also takes over the insole and the swoosh on the tongue label, both of which are also marked with a “沪”, which translates as “Shanghai, China”. Unlike the pair mentioned above, the newest option also includes coordinates related to the Shanghai People’s Government building. In addition, outsoles have a semi-transparent, blue finish.
