The traditions embedded into Chinese culture by the Chinese Zodiac have spilled over to the West for many, many years; astrological horoscopes and other lighter forms of belief are somewhat popular in Western culture, and although Americans don’t follow the Chinese Zodiac with orthodox methods, it’s still recognized for its significance and impact. Inspired by Shanghai’s iconic White Rabbit creamy candy, the shoe features a premium white leather upper, platinum suede panels, and a milky white translucent midsole. It also boasts red chenille Swooshes on the lateral side, blue chenille Swooshes on the medial side, a white rabbit on the heel, waxed blue laces, the Chinese character 兔 (rabbit) on a red Chenille tongue tag, and a blue “2011” lace deubré.
