Almost forty years ago, no one could have predicted Nike Dunk‘s fate and rebirth today. Peter Moore and his team have created a timeless nugget that has always sparked the interest of sneakerheads. Today, more than ever, Dunk is on everyone’s lips and whether Low, High or SB, it is attracting the envy of a wide audience. Continuing to exploit this vein, the Beaverton firm offers us a new iteration of its 1985 pearl. Called Free 99, it is inspired by the colorful storefronts of neighborhood grocery stores in major American cities. We present to you this new Dunk Low, available very soon.

The pair is made up of two mismatched sneakers whose base is in black leather. Thus, the toebox, the side panels and the heeltab are bathed in darkness to better let the other inserts speak. The front and rear mudguards, lace-up passages and heel are dressed in a jumble of green, blue, yellow and pink, all in pastel tones. The black nylon tongue is topped with a colored label where a Nike logo is embossed in chocolate brown. This same shade is found on the side Swoosh. As a reminder of the pair’s inspiration, the black sockliner is printed with grocery price tags, in neon green and orange with the Free 99 script.
