Modeled after a jade seal, most of the shoe is dominated by a light green palette, livened up by a mix of contrasting materials — like the silhouette’s hi-tech KnitPosite 2.0 fabric, ballistic nylon and rubber overlays, to mention a few. The Nike LeBron 18 features air like never before with a Max Air unit on the upper and an Air Max unit on the heel. To accompany all of that Air, the LeBron 18 also features Zoom Air in the forefoot. A reinforced heel structure and a Knitposite 2.0 upper also headline the latest model as Nike continues to progress along with LeBron’s game. Placed atop its geometric tongue is a set of semi-translucent bubbles that appear along the forefoot. A red mini-Swoosh is embroidered around the toecap, complemented by tiny red accents near the eyelets, while a jade-colored rear quarter rounds off the shoe’s uppers. All of these details rest over an articulated midsole, engineered with a full-length Zoom Air unit that maximizes energy return to support explosive movement on the court.
