Nike is paying homage to the Dominican Republic with the Air Force 1 Low De Lo Mio. This Air Force Low 1 comes with a white upper, multi-color Nike “Swoosh”, translucent midsole and translucent sole. These unsung heroes who’ve made the migration from the DR to NYC are represented with a lenticular University Red and Sport Blue Swoosh, symbolizing a vibrant yet smooth transition from one island to the next. The outsole features a milky semi-translucent white rubber with a Swoosh visible within the right sole and “De Lo Mio,” a term of endearment for close friends, on the left. Further details include “Republica Dominica” on the heel tabs and tongues, multiple red, blue and white lace options, and domino ornaments that can be added to the laces.
