Firstly arrived in 1985, Air Jordan 1 has been around for over 3 decades. The Jordan line keeps revamping the OG silhouettes with fresh colours and premium materials, and has also collaborated with different artists, designers and retailers to capture the essence of the original through a modern lens. The Air Jordan 1 violated the NBA’s uniform policy, which led to Jordan being fined $5,000 a game, and became a topic of a popular Nike commercial. The Air Jordan 1 is still popular today, and has been released in more colorways than any other Air Jordan model. Here, vibrant cheetah print covers the various suede overlays featured on the upper. A black nubuck base appears on the mid-panel and toe with a contrasting white leather Swooshes and cream colored Jumpman detailing on the tongue tab. Lastly, a black Wings logo sits near the collar with a vintage-inspired cream rubber midsole finishing off the look of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Cheetah” in grade school sizing.
