The 2015 Nike BHM Collection celebrates Black History Month with a collection of products across different sports that honors six athletes and coaches who have positively impacted sport with their courage and determination: Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer and John Thompson. The Kobe 9 Elite follows the black and white palette with a monochromatic appearance across the entire shoe. The Flyknit upper is split into two halves, The entire upper is built with Flyknit having the 2015 Black History Month theme design in Black and White throughout the base – as all the other Nike Basketball Black History Month models will feature.
